A tall order, considering the last time it happened was in 1996-97 when Vinnie Damphousse had 81 points and Mark Recchi got 80.

Saku got close last year, but I have a hunch he's peaked in terms of stats.

If anyone does it I would have to say Plekanec. Higgins is going to score more goals, but he hasn't shown the ability to put up assists. Too early to tell with Kostitsyn.

The last time more than two Canadiens put up 80 or more points was 1992-93:

Damphousse, 97
Muller, 94
Bellows, 88
Lebeau, 80

Not coincidentally, that was also the last time Montreal won the Stanley Cup.
