You might want to look for a 2-iron hybrid rather than a fairway wood though. The hybrid will be more versatile and you can hit it out of bad lies much better than you can an actual 2-iron.

On a personal note for my golf game, I had 3 birdies on my front nine yesterday, which is the most I have had for 9 holes. I had 1 on the back (on the hardest hole on the back 9, which netted me a skin in my group) to shoot 74. The shame of it is that I left a couple of shots out there can could have easily fired a 70.
i can hit my 2 iron out of any lie really its one of my better clubs. im looking for a 3 wood for distance.
