Apparently the rangers were offerred a choice of a number of hamilton players but were reccommended balej by harry howell(ex ranger). I for one am disappointed that we lost balej. I like kovalev but is this really what we need at this point? Hes probably not going to resign with us and we're not going to win the cup so why bother. Even if balej was eventually traded we would have been better off getting a younger player that would be with us for awhile. All this talk about how we kept perez over balej might not be accurate as the rangers could have probably had perez if they had of wanted him.
