Exactly. It's not that BG gave up on Balej, it's that we needed somebody good so we had to give up someone good for him. I can't see this trade coming back to bite us because I could never see Balej having much of an impact with us. From what I've seen of him, he's got to be playing top 6 to be effective and truthfully I could never have seen him cracking our top 6. There was just too many good prospects ahead of him with more skill and size.

Balej is a decent player, but won't be more than a second liner on a mediocre team.
