He did not split the defense. Hlavac slipped the puck ahead to him. He did get in position to make the play though, faked a shot, then slammed the brakes and went wide.

His shot was not a good one because he was being hooked, but it found a little hole between Brodeur's stick (paddle down) and the goalpost and snuck in.

Very creative goal and the ESPN guys were very excited. But you could see he still needs to put on some pounds. He is very quick and dangerous around the net tho...

They had a couple shots of him yakking Messier's head off on the bench and Messier looked like he wanted no part of it... lol. Mess can't be too happy with the way he's going out (if there's a strike).
