just read this...Phillipe Doucet does the "Tipster" column for Canada's Slam Sports, in which every day he predicts the outcome of the night's games. here's what he had to say about tonight's game:

The Nashville Predators are winless in their last five and have basically given up hope of making the post-season. They are 1-7 against the spread in their last eight overall and the 'Over' is 8-3-2 in their 13 games on the road. In their three games since the Bertuzzi incident, the Canucks have looked tired and out of groove. Can you blame them? They are 1-3 against the spread in their last four but are 8-1 against the spread in their last nine versus the Preds. I will heavily side with the 'Nucks in this one, seeing that I need some cash to bet on March Madness.
We've given up? Funny, he doesn't mention that even when we're not winning, we're gaining points...and it's not like we've been out of a playoff spot for more than a day or two in the past...months. Or that our schedule is about to calm down...and those we're in the running with are about to come into a hard portion of the schedule.

Well, we play best under bad press.
