we have three players who could eventually be studs - Jessiman, Tyutin and Umberger. This upcoming draft is important. The #1 pick HAS to be a big time player. And, if Sather/Maloney can find a way to move up a grab another top ten pick, then the work done last week will be all the more impressive. I like how much depth was added to the organization. They added four centers - Umberger, Immonen, Betts and Helminen - three RWers - Balej, Moore and Kozak - and four d-men - Kondratiev, Rachunek, Grenier and Liffiton. The only area which they didn't upgrade enough IMO was LW - only Giroux, who according to Baby Sens fans looks like a keeper. The Rangers do have Murray, Dawes and Jonasen. But, add a stud like Ovechkin (if we are lucky), and the depth at LW looks even better. AFAIC, this team needs three stud players - a #1 center, a#1 LW, and a big time d-man prospect who falls into the Blake/Stevens mold. And, if Sather and Company do their jobs properly over the next two drafts, we could see those positions filled.
