As discussed on these boards in past, Ottawa hockey fans spend more $'s per capita on the Sens than Toronto fans do on the Leafs. The fact Ottawa has 25% of the population has a little something to do with not selling out every game. So does charging what they do (read: Maximize revenues). Heck, there have been nights when the Sens, 67's and Olympiques have drawn more than 30,000 fans combined. I don't think any other city does that.

And when looking at Edmonton's attendance, keep in mind it incorporates the game outside with 60,000 fans. It doesn't mean Edmonton doesn't have great fans (they do), just a point of information when looking at attendance stats for this year.

Anyways, I don't think any of the points made are really that big a deal.

Now if we could just start stopping a few more pucks :mad:
