He hasn't lived up to his potential but I thought that a bust was someone who never made it. He "busted". For him to become a 2-way role player and lead his team in goals, I don't know if I'd consider him a bust for not being Gretzky.

I guess bust = disappointment in here.
Agreed - Bust is a relative term. IMO Daigle is not a bust. Daniel Tkaczuk, now there's a bust. Or Brandon Convery.
