You might stop growing physically after 2 or 3 years, but I'm not a doctor/athletic trainer. I don't think you ever stop getting better though as long as you're working at getting better.

Even if for some reason, you do stop growing after 2 or 3 years, there are always other things to help you be a better hockey player. Things like positioning and anticipation of developing plays. More of the mental aspect of hockey.
