Higgins has no glaring weaknesses. There's a need for maturation in his game, and he could certainly work on improving in the faceoff circle if he's going to be used down the middle in the NHL.

I'd like to see him add more fire to his game as well. As it stands he plays a fundamentally sound, intelligent game when he has the build and the skill to play with more character on a consistent basis.
