It's just one of the things that's always been there and I never really give much thought to.
Which makes my point for me Also, I think to prevent such cherry-picking, the league would have to adopt a newer version of an offsides call, or something comparable to the two line pass, where the puck can not be moved forward via pass across the center ice line. Then if you get the puck to center ice, and a cherry picker is sitting there, take the chance.

The NHL could take a look at the offsides issue IMO. I know there is a reason for it, but I want to find someone that knows.
