You do not need to open them. They are factory sealed. at the cover near the inside race, si where you place several drops of skate lube. the lube will fill that groove and as you spin the bearing, work its way in.
There are bearing cleaning kits available but I use a home made version. The BIG GULP pepsi bottle. lol
pick up a pepsi or other BIG GULP product. The plastic bottle with the wide mouth. I think they are the 20-24 ounce variety. The one liter size uses quite a bit of mineral spirits. Fill the bottle about 2/3 full w/ mineral spirits. Place cap on the bottle and roll it back and forth for a bit.
Dump out the contents(filter and reuse if you like) and repeat. Using canned or compressed air, blow them out and let dry. IF the bearings are really dirty you might want to repeat.
place a VERY small amount of skate lube back into the bearings. Excess only attracts more dirt!
I have had a set of the Ninja bearings since 2000 that are still kick'in strong. IF your playing 3 or more hours a week clean them once a week or more if your in sand/wet or dirty/dusty areas.
