So... are the Lightning really the 4th or 5th best team in the conference?

I know the whole Southeast Division arguement, but that's been shot down because their record against the other two divisions is better than it is within its own.

I'm not sure what else Tampa has to do to gain some respect.

Or has the arguement moved forward from One Year Wonder to They'll Fall After the Good Start to This Streak Can't Last to Yeah, But, They're Not a Good Playoff Team (which I've read around here, too).

I'm not trying to be a flaming homer, but sincerely asking, what does Tampa have to do?

I thought Legace standing on his head to preserve a 1-1 tie with Tampa was a decent indication of how good Tampa is (outshot them 38-24 - or something close). Is it because they had a bad game against the Isles the other night? Do we need to bring up Penguins wins vs. Toronto and Philly?

I would put money on DET in a 7 game series with TB, but I don't think the gap is that big.
