Komisarek's Biggest Test and Best Game

Being paired with Souray, often facing NJ's top line, and playing many big minutes and Komisarek responded with his best game in the NHL.

Komisarek was strong on the puck, played it quickly along the boards and jumped into the play on a few occasions. Aside from a couple mistakes, he was a physical presence and proactive on every play. Very strong game for Komisarek.

It will be interesting to see what happens with Komisarek when Brisebois and Quintal return. I don't expect him to play ahead of either of them but if Bouillon faulters I can see Komisarek taking his spot. Rivet looks just as solid on the left side as he does his natural position.

Certainly a step forward for Komisarek, which makes next season all the more exciting.
