No need to bad-mouth Mess..

since the trade deadline, and since the team was overrun with kids, he's been one of the better forwards out there, playing well in all three zones. Got a little hot under the collar, showed what he would've done in the 80s, and that's about it.

Garth Murray continues to impress me. I loved that wrist shot he took in the first that hit the post. That was a goal-scorer's shot. He gets in close and gets good shots off. Let's see if he can get garbage around the net too.

This team got beat to the puck early. PITT was all over them. Glad to see the Rangers' staff countered with 22 minutes of Jan Hlavac - that was useful - as he was pushed around, off the puck, and such. Sorry, while I'm all for giving him a chance (and man has he gotten a fair chance this season), I see zero reason why at this point in the season the Rangers don't roll four lines - I see no reason why any player should be getting 20+ minutes.
