Roenick came back from a broken jaw a while in Phoenix and played in the playoffs if I'm not mistaken. I remember him playing the same way- pretty physical. Not sure he's up to that now but I'm sure he won't be timid.

As for Primeau- I don't think he needs to throw his weight around to play his style. He can still play like a third defenseman out there and check his man closely without throwing big checks IMO.

Putting them on the same line? Primeau needs to play center (replace Lapointe?) and Roenick could be worked in on the wing or at center with whomever just to get minutes in.

Of course, Hitch will probably rearrange everything and scramble all the lines.
