I flipped on the Blues/Ducks game after the Preds game and they showed the score. Then the announcers (Blues) said they think the Preds just need to win 3 of 5 and would be fine (but that was also before the game was over). That seems to be the consensus here, whether 3 Wins or 6-7 points. But I would rather us get points in all the rest of the games. Donít know how likely it would be to get either 4 Wins and a point in another game or 3 Wins with points in the other 2 games, but that would certainly make me feel more comfortable.
Another record night.
-Most goals scored in a season (now have 203 GF)
-Most Wins in a season - 35
-The win assures the Preds will finish above .500 for the first time ever
-Walker became the Preds all time leading scorer in points!
BEAUTIFUL pass by David Legwand to Erat. Because it really was. Erat didnít look like he was even expecting a pass to get through, so I give Leggy credit just for being able to get the pass through there.
Sure it wasnít the best played game, but none have been lately. And we did get the win, that is the most important thing. They just need to realize what got them where they are, and go back to playing like that. And realize, weíre not the ones who are in the role of spoiler this year, and everyone else hates us and will be trying to knock us out so we need to go out and just take the games over and force the teams to play our way, and giving a few hits during the game never hurt anyone!
