Also, if an ECHL team played an AHL team they wouldn't stand a chance. ECAC teams play teams from the other leagues and usually hold up well, win some too. It's not like a huge difference between the competition division 1 leagues, with the exception of the newere CHA and Atlantic leagues. The ECHL compared to the AHL is a huge difference.
