Why has it always been Havlat that's been experimented on the Left Side?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but since we've had this glut, it's always Marty that is tried out on the other side. It's made sense, given that he was always the least talented of the group, and thus, there was less risk involved with moving him. However, given that it was never successful, and he's now a point-a-game player as a RW, I think all three players should be tried out on the other side.
Does anyone recall Hossa or Alfredson experimenting on the left wing for any extended period of time? Is there anything about their games that makes it crucial for them to be there? At times, there were chemistry issues, where you didn't want to break up a line to experiment like that (i.e. Hossa-Bonk-Arvedson at one point), but we're kinda past that point. Yes, the BAS line is doing well, but they haven't played together that long. Seems like there is little to lose by breaking them up.
