A nod of the hat to...

Pavel Kubina. This year has been his best all-around season in his career and he finally looks to have turned the developmental corner. He has a two-way game and can be as physical as anyone when he wants to be. If he builds on this season and can get 3-4 minutes of ice per game in the future, Kubina is a darkhorse for the Norris in a couple of years.

While I'm at it, I'll also tip my hat to Sundin and Mogilny for being the best shorthanded forward tandem I've seen in quite some time at creating offense while killing off a penalty.
