sprinting/endurance skating

i got high school tryouts coming up on monday

the first hour of tryouts is full out sprinting and such with a few 1 minute breaks in between

i am in decent shape and i usually am but does any experienced players have any tips for keeping my strength during the whole practice while trying hard> what should i do inbetween sprints? what shouldnt i do? no one has ever really taught me any of that (yeah im a senior too haha)
