we agree. I guess I'm expanding on the original point you make. However, if, for example, the Rangers draft Rob Schremp, sign Umberger and both players nicely fill the Rangers' 1st and 2nd line center positions, then the risk of taking Jessiman over Parise is further minimized. Perhaps, then if Jessiman is allowed to become the player the Rangers foresee him to be, then this whole argument is moot. Afterall, this is just speculation. In typical Brooks style, he has managed to inflame Ranger bulletin boards with contreversy.
