Actually does quite a bit. If you're looking for a good point man shot, go for a Bauer PM9 or a Lidstrom or a Forsberg, the Lids will give you a rising shot, good for power and pretty decent for accuracy...but you'll lose it a bit in puck control b/c the blade is so big. The PM9 is basically a Forsberg (an old Modano for Easton) but that is pretty good for control and it's a small curve starting a bit at the heel. I run with a Sakic right now, as a defenceman who loves to rush the puck, I think I am going to pick up an S17 soon or maybe swing a deal on a Stealth b/c they're coming down in price but the Sakic will give you good snap and wrist potential but you'll lose on slap shot accuracy and power (which makes me wonder why I got it in the first place b/c I am also a big shooter).
