I'm pretty sure they were told after the first period what the score was...
their performance dropped significantly and they werent trying nearly as hard, they definitely weren't the same team after the first.
Most noticeably their entire appearance on the bench looked as though they were dead and completely hopeless.

In any case- Home ice advantage comes down to Toronto @ Ottawa in the final game of the season.
