If we do move up to say, 2 or 3, where one of Ovechkin, Malkin or Olesz is still there, i would not be against trading down a few spots (from 2/3 to say 5/6) while taking another pick/prospect along with it, then with say a 5th, take Barker or Ladd.
i don't believe lindros ever had concussion problems as an amateur and cherneski is off base, he had one devastating knee injury that ruined his career.. perhaps you meant patrick stefan although hes never had any set backs because of his concussion history
i take the best player available and if thats either malkin or olesz so be it.. this draft is not especially deep and is full of risks, might as well take the one that is the least risky all while having the highest potential
