A little bit of Historical Stats courtesy of

Montreal will head to Boston to open the 30th playoff series between the two Original Six rivals on Wednesday. The full postseason calendar will be released by the League on Monday.

The Canadiens have faced the Bruins almost twice as many times in the playoffs as any other opponent in their 95-year history. Holding a 22-7 edge in their 29 series meetings to date, the club has gone 91-54 in 145 postseason games with Boston, 58-17 in Montreal and 33-37 on the road.

Truly impressive. I have a friend who's a Bruins fan and we sparred 2 years ago and we will once again. This series is even a little more special for me because I will be in New England for Easter. I'll be watching game 2 on NESN and maybe game 3 if it's in the afternoon.

By the way someone mentioned SRC. SRC is available nation-wide just like CBC. But I think all games will be on CBC anyways. One night MTL/BOS the next TOR/OTT and you put the Flames/Cauncks game on at 10 or 10:30.
