The officiating problem all year long has been the consistency IMO. Game to game, period to period, shift to shift, what constitutes a penalty changes. Sometimes you can ride a guy from behind for 75 feet, other times even the slightest hook gets called. At this point in the season I could care less about how they called things, as long as its consistent so the players know what they can and can’t do. I think it’s time to get rid of the two-referee system and go back to one and return some flow and consistency to the games.

But to say any one team has gained or lost from the refereeing this year is ridiculous. Every team has been on both ends of the stick, and to say that the Bruins always get the calls versus the Habs stretching back two years is flat out wrong. Maybe you guys have been listening to NESN a little too much.
