Sounds like rough and tumble is the solution either way - either you'll fall asleep of your own accord, or you'll get knocked out anyway.

I have the same trouble often - darn those late nights - I toss and turn for an hour before I sleep. I don't have a hi-fi with a sleep function near my bed, so I listen to my ipod for a little while.

Usually I'll be tired enough to fall asleep, unless I've had a stressful day/bad night with hockey, in which case I'll start stressing or replaying events, whichever's appropriate....unfortunately because I'm so geared up I can't help thinking of things like this cos my minds so active and nothing else to do/think about.
