Anyway you slice it, the Flyers lose and Clarke was wrong. He made a mistake and no matter how Eager turns out, he will not even up the deal. (This is of corse he does not become a 30 goal scorer, which he will not) Burk could have been aquired for a 2nd round pick.
There's no way Burke would've been dealt for a 2nd round pick. A 2nd round pick is just what most HF posters except for the PHX posters said he was worth. PHX said he was their franchise player. No way could they have dealt him for a 2nd round pick after saying that.

4-6th potential does not qualify a defense prospect as top end. Joni Pitkanen is a top-end defense prospect. He didn't give up on Woywitka. He traded him. Outside of those 5 reg season games Jones got we would not have seen Woywitka this season. Kapanen is probably the 7th defensemen, hopefully we don't have to find that out though.

Radivojevic is a 4th liner on the Flyers. Most teams he's a 3rd liner at least.

Clarke was not wrong in any way to try and improve his team for a playoff run. What Clarke did w/ all of the injuries this season was nothing short of amazing.

Stop staring at your half empty glass.
