What little faith. But even if they do bow out in 4 or 5, that's revenue, and in today's environment, every penny counts when trying to build a good team and be competitive. And who's chest beating?

Gainey made a bold statement as well as a grand gesture to the fans of the team by making this trade. It may not have paid off in terms of Kovalev going on a scoring tear, but such is life.

EDIT: As for running for the door, if I was getting booed by fickle, impatient "fans", I wouldn't want to stick around either.
