Langdon's presence on the ice (or rather, the bench) provides zero deterrant to the B's. Langdon is not an effective defensive player (contrary to what CJ might say for window-dressing purposes), and of course he has absolutely no offensive ability whatsoever.

In short, Langdon brings nothing to the game... directly.

However, I will vote to keep him in the lineup for the following indirect reasons:

1. By having no 4th line to speak of due to his presence, it means the top lines get more icetime. Our big scorers need to approach 20 mins to feel like they're in the game, sometimes. With Langdon, there is no temptation to actually play him, as there might be for other players we could dress in his spot.

2. Langdon does good job opening and closing the bench door and talking to the guys. He promotes team chemistry in some indefinable way (that has nothing to do with intimidation, just pure camarderie).
