Because Parise is on our next-door rivals and was the safer pick and probably the smarter pick ... so when Lou signed him now after his good year in college, everyone continues to yammer about how horrible a job sather did ... he's just a convenient example of how bad sather is ... whether or not the pick of jessiman was good or bad, its just easy to point to and say look, you made a mistake ... and the funny thing is I hate sather, but criticising him for Jessiman now is a little bit early and little toooo easy ... Lee Fedarleau (sp) on the other hand was an awful pick then and is still an awful pick.
