If Langdon is not in the lineup and reminding people he's out there, Lapointe might just decide to take the 5 minutes and go after Zednik, Ryder, or someone else, knowing that the most he'd have to worry about later in the game was Quintal. Come have Chris Simon on one side and Brad May on the other. Enforcer or not, players will do what they have to do. If Lapointe wants to fight Koivu or Zed, he will do it.
