I can accept the Kharlamov opinion.

The fetisov opinion too. They were just different players. Vasiliev was a world ahead of Fetisov defensively and physically, ut Fetisov was far more of a two way player, but Vasiliev's numbers were hurt because he was one of the ONLY players on the russian squad who never played for the red army team because he was frowned upon in the russian league for his physical style.
He was still the guy they put on the ice to shut down Wayne Gretzky in 1981
