Those slashes don't get called in OT, and Kovalev should of known it.
They guys on The Score made an important comment on how the league wants to crack down on slashing calls no matter when they happen. That's why all the broken stick lead to penalties. They also said they wouldn't be surprised if the two refs from tonights game get e-mails in the morning from the head office.

Should it have been a penalty? YES! Should Kovalev have stopped playing? NO!

Also, from what I hear the rest of the habs locker is po'd at Souray & Julien for publicly bashing Kovalev.
