For me, I have a game 2x a week...i have pasta 8 hours before the game and a monster engery drink 60 min befor the game.
Worked great for me.
Sometimes if im REALLY feeling like garbage ill eat a banana 70 minutes before a game as well.
At 22, im currently the best shape of my life..with that diet and drink...ive never been tired in the 3rd period yet and give 110% each shift.....
