As for Zetterberg, he's a lot tougher than you'd think.
Detroit's gameplan will be to try to slow the pace of the game way down like they were able to do against Nashville in the last two games of that series.
People have mentioned Chelios and Hatcher being prone to taking dumb penalties, but Shanahan and Fischer are the guys I'm concerned about.
Should be a great series, could go either way.
I never said taking runs at. That's the one thing most people don't realize about the Flames defence, Gauthier may hit guys but as he has matured he is rarely caught out of position these days (may not play though). Same with Regehr, Warriner, and Commodore. A few good hits and guys start thinking twice when on the ice or second guessing their decisions and those hesitations lead to turnovers and other mistakes.
If the Red Deer Rebels lose watch out for Phaneuf!
I do agree this will be a better series than most may think even if we do have to put up with crappy Saturday afternoon hockey.
Oh well, guess I'll have to be drunk at 4 pm rather than 10pm
