IMO Gainey will not trade either one this summer.
I think the AHL playoffs will be a good litmus test for Hossa and Hainsey. It'll provide Gainey with the opportunity to see how well they can handle the pressure - pressure that they'll have to be able to handle on a daily basis in Montreal. (And, it's the daily grind of the NHL that Hossa clearly couldn't handle in his earlier call-ups.)
I want Hossa to succeed as much as the next guy - he's a very enticing package. But extenuating circumstances
just force Gainey to move both him and Hainsey. On the other hand, Gainey
be able to move some bodies on the current roster to make room for Hossa and Hainsey.
