When someone your size and weight is snapping shafts shooting. You're doing something wrong. Sounds like your stick is hitting the ice too far behind the puck, not allowing the lower end to snap forward. So in essence, you are putting the stick on the ice and flexing it until it breaks. Go back to cheap woodies and work on your shooting technique.
So that wannabe-coach that teaches slapshots where you don't hit the ice is right?
