I could see it happening if he played with Saku and Kovalev the whole season. But I admit it's highly unlikely.

I haven't watched him play a lot (about 6-7 games : WJC, Pre-season and Hamilton) but he's looked good each and every time. I really like his moves plus he doesn't look like a floater, cherry picker. In the games I watched he didn't seem afraid to take abuse to make a play. The NHL is a whole different ballpark but this is encouragingé.

I like Higgins as well. But I think I have higher hopes about Perezhogin being a better player offensively. And I'd venture to say that they aren't so far apart defensively.
