Yes, fair enough. However, it is plain to see that Perezhogin is responding in kind to the opposing player swinging a stick at his own head. The Cleveland player was within inches of hitting Perezhogin the exact same way. In no way does this defend Alex's actions. I am just saying that it is
why he reacted the way he did. It is very unfortunate that the opposing player was hurt. Perezhogin should be suspended for a year or more, stick swinging has to be outlawed.
(as a note, i am the biggest habs fan in the world - i'd love to see Perezhogin on the team next year)
But I don't think he should be banned for life.
