I think Bob and Burke have been very lucky so far. And I woud equate Lou Lamoriello's work to Jim Rotherfurd in Carolina in that they're two guys that have been with their clubs forever and because of it have had the chance to creat a culture, a state of being with their team with them at the top rulling it with a iron fist. I mean the Carolina cup was all that, a system, great team work that has been implemented over the years, the kind of thing where when all the things gel, it cannot be stopped. That's why somebody like Samsonov can go there and look like a million bucks.

All in all most these guys whether it's luck, whether it's been very patient and not seeming doing anything of worth, being a good GM is about leadership first and foremost. And guys like Lou, Burke, Bob, Rutherdord, etc...have that.
