The thing with Boyle is that is was the 26th pick in last years draft(much deeper than this year they say) and is a gamble of a pick granted but has hugh upside according to the scouting reports about him. For the Kings to give up Kanko who they are very high on and Boyle who they are also very fond of and our first #11 where they can possibly draft a goalie for the 17th pick (where both goalies are probably gone) and Weight, a guy who can't do it by himself but he'd be asked to in LA. Who are his wingers supposed to be, Frolov and ? We have to sign Ziggy for this trade to remotely look decent and have little or no money left to sign the many rfa's we have. No sense in LA trading some important youth which it will have to rely on heavily the coming years for 1 player and a pick in a so called weak draft. LA is a hard team to read because there are so many question marks, I like Weight but we lack the Keith's and Mellanby's to make him successfull here imo.
