Bull! It's a heck of lot more exciting than a 7-2 game. Would you agree? The only thing I had to look forward to in Game 5 of the Leafs-Flyers series was a Domi-Brasheer fight, and Domi was got a game misconduct penalty.

That is often what happens when scoring is increased. You usually don't get 6-5 scores; you get 6-3 games that are over by the middle of the second period.
