Having not seen enough of the players born 1988 I'll not include a take on them.
Axelsson however I saw play several times this season

I'd say he is a pretty good two-way defenseman. Great size and reach. Plays physical, sometimes dirty. Uses his stick a lot, when not having the puck himself Joins the rush, strong positioning in the offensive zone. Pretty good skater, okay release. A player with a lot of potential. Tough to compare him to someone, but perhaps a Johnny Oduya? He has yet not shown the same offense ad Oduya did in the second tier leauge, obviously.

While Axelsson has been quite hyped, in all the games I've seen Örebro play this season I have been more impressed by Carl Gunnarsson (eligible for the 2005 Entry Draft). He has good length but is a bit lanky and must buckle up. However, he is very strong in his own end. Plays simple, few mistakes. Very interesting defenseman.
