First of all, the subject of tonight's show is "What will be the first round surprise ?" This in itself is quite ironic since if anyone could answer that question, then it wouldn't a surprise. Nevertheless, I was still feeling like watching TV so I decided to stick around a bit. Then, the show starts.
Then, Michel Bergeron decides to do a "joke" and give Pagé an autographed portray of Kovalev. After wasted minutes of bad puns about the portray, they finally decide to start talking about hockey.
They start off by talking about the Sens-Pens and Habs-Bruins series and were debating on if a miracle is possible in those series. I guess they are not aware that a miracle is when something impossible happens but hey, let's just ignore this and continue with the review.
Seconds later, Bergeron notices a fly flying around the studio and starts saying **** about the fly being a surprise in the studio and that it's a bad omen. Confused in front of this terrible analogy, I wonder if I should continue watching to know how lame this show will be since they don't really have any news to cover today because they did the playoffs preview yesterday.
Then it finally starts for real (well, I thought so)., they start blabbering about almost all series and saying "oh this could be a surprise lolz" and "orly u tink dalas could beat anaheim?1!" until Pagé tells everyone to shut up to precise that the producer is mentioning him in his earphone that the Flyers COULD surprise Washington (breaking news I guess...)
11:00 is around the corner and La Zone is about to start so they decide to discuss a more unique subject, the Huet trade and relying on Price who could do just like Patrick Roy. Right about here, I lose a bit my focus since some things more interesting were happening (like the sound of water dripping from the melting snow on my window).
After that, they realized they kind of sucked at analysis and they brought in some goalie specialist from "Goalie's World". He starts talking about that if Price gets on a good sequence, he could be intimidating (thank you Captain Obvious).
Then, they finally let Eric Hoziel talk for the first time in the show (about 20 minutes in) and he finally brings an semi-interesting point; the Habs are a good team which is well balanced on each position. Afterwards, he shuts up and the good ol' fatties start blabbering again.
11:12 The show is getting so boring I feel like doing a review about it just to make it less boring WHILE watching it. Nevertheless, unvoluntarily, my brain is filtering their voices and I can't keep up with what they are saying now. I'll try to focus again.
11:13 They start discussing the idea that maybe the league should penalize any player who touches the opposing goaltender which is some of the worst crap I ever heard since d-men often push forwards around and the officials are already having a hard time differentiating if the player jumped on the goalie or not.
11:14 Screw that, I'm changing to La Zone, this is killing me
I did exactly the same thing at exactly the same time.
