I thought Ellis played very well. Detroit threw the puck at the net at every opportunity and Ellis seemed to be in good position to make the stops. Nashville must get the puck out of the defensive zone when they are given the opportunity. I know it was a bad break that the puck hit (or did it ) the linesman, but Weber has to put that puck through the linesman. I make no secret about my dislike for Zidlicky and he lived up to my expectations last night, jumping into the play and making nothing happen. He turned down a few good shoting opportunities to try to make pretty plays and skated the puck into the corner a couple times just to cough it up. . .he provides nothing and is a wasted roster spot. I thought the Bonk, Rads, Erat line did some good hard cycling. . .just wish it would have turned into more opportunities. Arnott and Dumont were MIA.

I thought it was an okay effort, but it's hard to beat a superior team that is playing pretty well and gets most the bounces.
