Canucks probably win the most out of this deal actually. They get a franchise goaltender and a vet d-man they could easily re-sign, who's also a pretty good PP guy. They give up a goaltender with arbitration rights, a potential 2nd liner and a low 1st rounder.
Buffalo improves up front, getting some more scoring punch along with a good defensive prospect. However, they lose their two best d-men, so basically they have to hope for some pluckings off the FA market or make some other trades to bolster their blueline again.
Montreal gets completely hosed. Period.
