Don't forget that they lowered ticket prices by 10% two years before. While we do live in NY, most people who sit in the 400s aren't rich people. The people who sit in those seats are true Rangers fans, corporations aren't going to buy seats in the 400s, the prices can only go up to a point until people stop going. As I said, the Rangers aren't going to make their cheapest seat $20 above the price of the average seat in every other arena, they aren't nuts.
But they took it back AND added another 10%+ on top the following summer, for a one year increase of something like 22%!
